With fishing and water sports being a favourite pastime of many Territorians and visitors to Darwin and the Northern Territory, finding a decent boat ramp shouldn't be hard to find. Here we list a few that may or may not be known to all
Doyles Ramp
Located at the end of Conacher St, Fannie Bay. Tidal access above 3.5 metres
Vesteys Beach Ramp
Located at Atkins Drive, Fannie Bay. Tidal access above 3.5 metres
Buffalo Creek Ramp
Located 2km from signpost on Lee Point Road. Tidal access - All tides at ramp but no access through Buffalo Creek mouth below 4 metres.
Dinah Beach Ramp
Located at Francis Bay Drive, Fannie Bay. Tidal access above 2.5 metres
Nightcliff Ramp
Located at the corner of Banksia Street and Casuarina Drive, Nightcliff. Tidal access above 2.5 metres
East Arm Ramp
Located at the end of Berrimah Road, Berrimah. Tidal access above 1.5 metres, but caution should be used at low tide as a rock formation lies immediately southeast of the ramp.
Leeders Creek Ramp
Located at about 44km along Gunn Point Road off Howard Springs Road. Turn right at the signpost. Tidal access above 2 metres
Saltwater Arm Ramp
Located at about 42km along Gunn Point Road off Howard Springs Road. The turn off to Saltwater Arm boat ramp is 2km before the Leeders Creek Ramp. Tidal access above 2 metres
Palmerston Ramp
Located adjacent to Elizabeth River Bridge on the Palmerston side, approximately 9km from Stuart Highway taking University Avenue. Tidal access - all tides
Middle Arm Ramp
Located at the end of Middle Arm Road approximately 15km from Cox Peninsula Road. Tidal access - most tides, but use caution at lower tides
Channel Island Ramp
Located approximately 25km west of Palmerston, across Elizabeth River Bridge. Tidal access - most tides, but use caution at lower tides
Adelaide River Ramp
Located adjacent to Adelaide River Bridge on the Arnhem Highway. Tidal access - most tides, but use caution at lower tides
Corroboree Ramp
Turn left 1km east of Corroboree Park Tavern and follow the signs. Tidal access - all tides
Mary River Ramp
Located adjacent to Mary River Bridge on the Arnhem Highway. Tidal access - all tides
 
Milne Inlet Ramp
Located at Milne Road, Dundee. Tidal access - all tides but higher is better
Stingray Head Beach Ramp
About 55 km along Fog Bay Rd the road makes a sharp turn where the large Dundee sign is, follow the dirt track to Five Mile Beach.. Tidal access - all tides but higher is better
Hardcastle Ramp
Located at Bynoe Haven Road, Dundee. Tidal access - all tides but higher is better
Dundee Public Ramp
Located at Cox Peninsular Road, the ramp is about 60km down Fog Bay Road. Tidal access above 3 metres
Public Ramp 1 - Six Pack Creek
Located at Mackenzie Arm. Turn off Fog Bay Road along Barramundi Drive. Tidal access above 2 metres
Public Ramp 2 - Six Pack Creek
Located at Mackenzie Arm. Turn off Fog Bay Road along Dundee Road. Tidal access above 2 metres
Mouth of Annies Ramp
Located by driving along Fog Bay Road, there is a dirt track on the left 1.8 km past Lenny Creek. Follow the track to the end. 4 Wheel Drive necessary. Tidal access above 2 metres
Mouth of Finniss Ramp
Located by driving along 5 mile beach to the mouth of the Finniss. Launch boat off the beach - or - with permission from the Professional Fisherman's Camp. Ramp is about 2 Km upstream continuing along a track from the mouth of the Finniss. Tidal access above 2 metres
