Mindil Beach Sunset Markets
The Mindil Beach Sunset Markets
are held at Darwin's beautiful Mindil Beach every Thursday and Sunday nights
in the Dry Season (April through to October. Over 200 stalls (which include
dozens of multicultural food stalls and many art and craft or charity stalls)
operate every Thursday night, attracting thousands who come to eat, drink
and watch the sun set over the Arafura Sea. Many visitors bring a picnic

Parap Markets
The Parap Markets is held on Saturday
mornings at Parap Shopping Village. Food stalls include Thai, Indonesian,
Vietnamese, Chinese and Australian cuisine. Parap Markets are held every
Saturday of the year.
Rapid Creek Markets
The Rapid Creek Markets is held
at the Rapid Creek Shopping Centre (Trower Rd). Most of these sell fresh
produce, especially Asian ingredients such as lemongrass, coriander and locally grown fruit and vegetables. Along with the food stalls, you will find plants and art and craft.
Nightcliff Markets
The Nightcliff Markets (held at
the Nightcliff Shopping Centre) is a great relaxed place to come for a
coffee, a chat and bite to eat on leisurely Sunday mornings with a shady,
continental street-cafe ambience. Against a backdrop of free live music,
market-goers can choose from about 20 food stalls and about 180 others
selling art and craft, produce, gifts, massages and clothing.
Palmerston & Rural Markets
The Palmerston and Rural Markets,
held in Frances Mall on Friday nights in the Dry season. A nice family
atmosphere with over 100 stalls, including 14 food stalls. There is also
entertainment and a childrens play area provided.
Coolalinga Rural Markets
Stuart Hwy Coolalinga NT. Every
Saturday 8.00am to 2.00pm.
